The £27m Berry Court housing development located in the town centre, was completed in August 2018 and delivered 113 rental properties together with a new multi-storey car park that has re-provided public 155 spaces. More than 80% of the apartments were reserved ahead of handover and the development was fully occupied by November 2018.
The high-quality accommodation includes one, two and three-bedroom apartments. In partnership with Eastleigh-based Abri Housing, Berry Court was a ‘build to rent’ scheme, ideal for young professionals who may not have been ready to purchase a property.
The ‘Build to Rent’ model offered tenants secure tenancy agreements, zero administration fees, and a professionally managed home, and has continued to be very popular with residents.
Berry Court is now a vibrant town centre community that delivers economic and lifestyle benefits to the town.
