The greatest aerial display team in the world, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, The Red Arrows will be wowing the Festival crowds in Bournemouth once more, thanks to the support of leading regeneration and construction group Morgan Sindall.
The Diamond Nine, who have been thrilling audiences for more than 45 years, will be flying as a seven-ship display three times during the UK’s largest free aviation event. The Reds will appear on Thursday 30th August at 3pm, Friday 31st at 2pm and Saturday 1st September at 1230pm – with all appearances supported by Morgan Sindall.
Morgan Sindall Investment Limited, which is a partner in The Bournemouth Development Company, commented; “We’re delighted to be involved for a second consecutive year with the Bournemouth Air Festival and supporting the Red Arrows’ display. As the Council’s partner in The Bournemouth Development Company we are committed to projects which
improve the town and bring an economic boost to traders – the Air Festival is a fantastic event and one we are incredibly proud to be part of.”
Jon Weaver, Air Festival Director said; “It’s poignant we open the Air Festival with a
fantastic display by the Red Arrows, kicking off the much anticipated aerial extravaganza.”
This year the Jon Egging Trust is one of the three nominated Air Festival charities, alongside Hounds for Heroes and the Royal Marines Royal Navy Charity (RNRMC). £1 from every sale of the official Air Festival brochure will be divided between them as will £10 from every new Patron’s donation.
